An Improved Implementation of Multilevel Green's Function Interpolation Method for Electric Field Integral Equation

摘要
A new improved full-wave multilevel Green's function interpolation method (MLGFIM) for electric field integral equation (EFIE) is proposed for the electromagnetic field fast evaluation. In order to use MLGFIM to accelerate computation time of matrix-vector multiplication for EFIE, conventional implementation needs to decompose each of the MoM matrix elements of the EFIE into 4 sub terms. We reformulate the sub term related to the divergence such that it can be merged into the other three sub terms. Hence, the MoM matrix element only needs to be decomposed into 3 terms now and consequently, the computational efficiency is improved.
