The design of sea and river construction works according to a limit-state format

After over 25 years of elaboration, the Eurocodes (European construction design rules according a semi-probabilistic limit-state format) will become compulsory within the next decade for buildings and bridges. Even if European design rules fit for maritime works are only available much later, their designers shall accommodate to this change. The French ministry for public works, transports and housing elaborated recommendations named "ROSA 2000" to help the designer to adapt Eurocodes for the design of sea and river construction works.
