ISO/CD 9001:2000 ISO in the year 2000

The ISO TC 176 committee has promised the world in November 2000, that a new ISO 9000 series of standards will be available. The ISO committee rewrote, reformatted and even renamed the standard. For those companies that are currently certified to ISO, and those companies that are seeking certification, the proposed changes will have a profound effect on what and how we perform business in the years to come. This paper summarizes the changes that are being incorporated into the new standards.
