摘要
Both the challenges of the growth of population, of agglomerations and of transport and traffic on the one hand, and limited ressources as well as environmental impacts of traffic and transportation on the other hand, the technological reduction potentials of the traffic and transportation generally and of the rail transport specifically are discussed. Additionally non-technological measures are necessary to achieve a sustainable mobility.
