Micromycetes of gold ore and placer deposits in the Amur area

33 species from 13 genera have been extracted from gold ore and placer deposits of Amur area of the Russian Far East. Most of them are typical members of soil mycobiota. The ability of micromycetes to accumulate gold particles from the solutions has been investigated. The strains of Penicillium waksmanii, P. chrysogenum, P. kapuscinskii, P. steckii, P. godlewskii, Oidiodendron flavum, Alternaria alternata (Hyphomycetes), Phoma eupyrena, Ph. humicola, Ph. herbarum (Coelomycetes), Talaromyces luteus, Eurotium pseudoglaucum (Ascontycetes, Eurotiales) were able to concentrate gold particles from the solutions actively.
