摘要
In this paper, we present space-time block codes based on coordinate interleaved orthogonal designs. After channel model is formulated, we explore Complex orthogonal design Space-time block codes (COD STBCs), and detailedly research Coordinate interleaved orthogonal design Space-time block codes (CIOD STBCs). The CIOD STBCs have the same low decoding complexity as the COD STBCs. However, rate 1 CIOD STBCs exist for two, three and four transmit antennas while COD STBCs exist only for two transmit antennas. Similarly rate 3/4 CIOD STBCs exist for five, six, seven and eight transmit antennas while COD STBCs exist only for three and four transmit antennas. At last we make simulations for the COD STBCs and the CIOD STBCs respectively.
