VIBRATION CONTROL OF MAGNETO-RHEOLOGICAL SEAT DAMPER USING A NEW ADAPTIVE FUZZY SLIDING MODE CONTROL

摘要
This paper presents a new adaptive fuzzy control based on two control strategies: H infinity technique and sliding mode control. The H infinity technique is powerful algorithm in tracking and guarantees the stability of the system, which is combined with the robustness of sliding mode control in disturbances. Besides, the application of the fuzzy logic model in the proposed control is strengthen the proposed control in uncertain environment of the system. It is noted that the interval type 2 fuzzy model is applied in this study. This fuzzy model shows that it can cover the operation rules of the system and combines with the proposed algorithm to guarantee stability of the system. After analysing the proposed control, it is applied to magneto-rheological fluid (MR in short) seat damper system. In addition, to compare the benefit of the proposed control, two existing controls are modified and evaluated by comparing with the proposed one. It is shown that the proposed controller can produce much better performance in vibration control of the vehicle seat.
