摘要
Urban environment refers to those landscapes that demonstrate the features and cultural deposits of a city. The design of color, in terms of urban environment planning, actually refers to the applied research of color design in urban environment planning. In the field of urban environment design, the application of color is a decisive factor critical to the effect of the overall environment. China's regulatory planning also takes it as a reference control indicator for a city with its own features. In this article, the author mainly gives an analysis on the most employed and effective means of application of color to urban environment, points out color's positive and guiding impact on human life in urban environment and how to better solve the realistic problems of succession and innovation in urban environment planning by taking Wuhan as an example because it has promulgated a Color Control Guideline for color control in the city of Wuhan, and lastly, proposes three suggestions for the management of color in urban environment, hoping a wide common consensus be reached for a better urban environment.
