摘要
The study brings findings from the field of subjective well-being with orientation to values and goals. In the sample of 234 university students (89.7% women, 10.3% men) of Faculty of Education in Presov, the relation of congruency and incongruency of values and goals to subjective well-being was examined. The average respondents' age was 21.1 years with SD 1.23. The research instruments were Values Orientation Questionnaire (PVQ 40), questionnaire for goals identification made up for this study, Emotional Habitual Well-being Scale (SEHP), and Global Life Satisfaction Scale (CZS). The results analysis showed that people with congruent values and goals experience better subjective well-being than people with incongruent values and goals while the differences were highly significant both for affective domain (positive and negative experiences), and for cognitive domain of subjective well-being (life satisfaction).
