Notes on African Dieuches and related Rhyparochromini with description of one new species (Hemiptera, Lygaeoidea, Rhyparochromidae)

Dieuches embolicus n. sp. from South Africa and Tanzania is described and illustrated, Dieuches herero var. picus Breddin, 1913 is considered to be a junior synonym of Dieuches armatipes (Walker, 1872), Dieuches herero var. fusculus Breddin, 1913 is anew synonym of Dieuches herero Breddin, 1913. New distributional records of African Dieuches, Distadieuches, Exopamera and Metadieuches are given. African species housed in the collection of Museum fur Naturkunde are listed with distributional data. Biogeographical notes on Southern African Dieuches are given, along with a checklist of the species represented in that area.
