Chromatography is arguably the most important: modern analytical technique, and the enormous volume of data produced by any single laboratory passes through one of the many data management software packages, Automation has increased the sample throughput by orders of magnitude in the last decade, and the primary challenge now faced by the laboratorian is no longer how to get more samples analyzed in less time, but how to organize the flood of data and extract meaningful information from the data.
