摘要
Visible Light Communication (VLC) is an emerging technology to leverage the heavy data loads on over traditional RF technologies. It can be used for dual purposes, i.e., data transmission in addition with illumination. In this paper, performance of Non Line of Sight (NLOS) VLC channel has been investigated under different equalization schemes. The objective has been to explore an efficient equalization this is both performance-efficient and less complex. In this regard, Fractionally spaced equalization (FSE) has been employed for indoor VLC channel and compared with other existing equalization schemes. The simulation results show that the slope of the curve of FSE bit error rate (BER) is parallel to that of Maximum Likelihood (ML) equalizer with much less complexity. Moreover, FSE outperforms all other existing equalizers.
