On the concept of production in artificial intelligence

摘要：
The paper is dedicated to the analysis of productions in the form they are applied in systems of artificial intelligence (AI). The proposed definition of a production covers a considerable number of particular variants of productions used in these systems. This definition specifies elements, very important both in theory and in practice, which have remained beyond the scope of interest of many researchers for various reasons. These elements were implemented in a theoretical scheme of production, which completes this work.
