Investigation and Analysis of the Present Situation of College Students' Labor Concept in the New Era - Taking a University in Jiangxi Province for Example

Grasping the current situation of college students' labor concept and identifying the influencing factors are of great significance for colleges and universities to carry out labor education. Taking a university in Jiangxi province as the research object, this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of College Students' labor concept in the new era. The survey found that college students' labor concepts have basically formed, and they can look rationally at the undesirable phenomena in society. In the complex times of media convergence, they can more identify with the mainstream values. In terms of students' labor participation, there are significant differences on the variables of gender, only child or not, city and country, grade, family economic condition, etc. It is suggested that the guidance of labor education should be strengthened from the four dimensions of family, society, school and individual, and school labor education should be multi-department linkage.
