Constructing a Classroom-teaching Model for Developing Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Senior College Curriculum -Take English for Science and Technology as an Example

摘要
Critical thinking plays a very important role in the advancement of society, the development of science and technology, and the growth of economy. But what does it mean? How to construct a classroom-teaching model for developing students' critical thinking skills in senior college curriculum? These are the questions this paper is going to address. Based on the teaching of English for Science and Technology of China University of Petroleum, the author centered on the analysis of the factors affecting the construction of a classroom-teaching model for cultivation of critical thinking in senior college curriculum-to create a relaxed, happy and student-centered cooperative learning atmosphere; to adopt the discussion-based and task-based teaching mode and to reform the methods of evaluation.
