摘要
A math. modeling of the operation of a class I central heating furnace was performed by computational fluid dynamics together with the DPM discrete-phase momentum balancing model. The problem of numerical mesh compaction needed to simulate the spread of pollutants in the air was focused on. Relying only on the q(mesh) parameter, which determines the quality of individual elements of the numerical mesh, was not sufficient. Therefore, the impact of the number of elements and the distribution of the q(mesh) parameter in the mesh on the obtained simulation results should be analyzed.
