摘要：
Technology innovations are important for firms to compete in the market, whereas spillovers are unavoidable. The research issue of this article is how imitations impact on R&D behaviors. This article develops a model for valuing R&D projects with imitations. In this model, the real option method is implemented for R&D valuation, the catastrophic events in R&D investments are concerned, and the Longstaff-Schwartz model is used for simulation. Lastly, in order to confirm the effect of different factors on R&D investments, sensitivity analyses for each key factor are also made.
