摘要
The Polish Law and Justice Party (Prawo i SprawiedliwoSC, PiS) came to power following its victories in elections during 2015. Attention is drawn to the complex processes of institutionalization whereby the Polish right has formed political parties since the 1990s and on the ideological struggles that led to their hegemony opposite the coalition constructed since 1989 by liberals following the Round Table Agreement with the Communists. This approach shows how the various groups on the Polish right have reinvented a conservatism adapted to the post-Communist context. The Law and Justice Party could thus broaden its offer, update the anti-Communism of the 1990s and present as a form of national solidarity the social reforms advocated during the presidential and legislative campaigns in 2015.
