Experimental evidence of a giant capacitance in insulator-conductor composites at the percolation threshold

摘要
The giant enhancement of the dielectric properties was measured at the percolation threshold of a metal-insulator functional graded composite (FGM). The mullite-Mo FGM combines very good thermal stability, low leakage currents, and very high capacitance, using dielectric materials with a low dielectric constant. At the percolation threshold of the mullite-Mo FGM, there is a giant increase in capacitance at room temperature.
