A Framework of Cloud-based Collaborative Platform to Integrate Product Design Requests and Contradiction Analysis

摘要
In this research, we consider the deficiencies of current e-collaboration design systems that are introduced to enterprises, and then concentrate on how to express the essential requirements for product design. The authors propose a systematic process model to support collaborative product development (CPD). The required multi-disciplinary information for CPD will be handled via the processes of classification, transformation, and analysis to assist the product development. We first apply DFX (Design for X) concepts to catch the team members' intentions and then combine the 39 design parameters from TRIZ to construct a four-level structural classification scheme for design information, including design intentions, design requirements, design parameters and engineering parameters. An interactive cloud-based platform for bike-design is planned to implement our model. This platform plays a role to integrate the product requests proposed by each department on the design chain, and help resolve design contradictions. The benefits of collaborative design can then be effectively fulfilled.
