摘要
In the learning process there is communication between teachers and students and student with a student. The process of communication that occurs to students and student-speech utterances involve highly varied, including speech acts/acted imperative. This study aimed to describe the type of speech acts/acted teacher imperatives contained in the learning process of MTsN 4 Padang. This research is qualitative descriptive method that uses the data onto the form of speech used by the teacher in the Indonesian language, science, and social studies. Data collection techniques in the study of the technique of recording and recording field techniques. result in this research imperative speech act is divided into five types, namely : the usual imperative, demand, licensing, solicitation, and the messenger.
