摘要：
In China, rock painting has abundant resources and a history of hundreds of thousands of years from emerging to now. During the long history development process, the development of human society was represented and human society progress and development were testified by the rock paintings through the graphic depiction. In this thesis, the functions of rock paintings are intensively expounded; the function of proving history and that of correcting errors of rock paintings are the main focus and also the practical functions when rock painting is generated is introduced.
