摘要
In this paper we suggest a novel method for the producing nano-fibers bundle by using the surface frictional force to improve the applications of nano-fibers. We established a new process and certified the characteristics of the structure, thickness and mechanical properties of the bundle specimens. By modeling the accumulation of nano-fibers on the frictional surface we derived the bundle thickness profiles during the process and the output thickness, which was simulated numerically by Finite Difference Method, especially by applying Forward Time Backward Space method. And uni-axial tensile tests were conducted to characterize the output bundle. According to the results, the radius of forming yam on the friction surface is non-linearly increases through the drum axis, so it has curvature like conical tip shape. The resulting bundle has a 0.85 gf/tex strength (C.V.: 10.05 %) and 0.345 strain (C.V.: 17 %). And the simulation results of dynamic behavior of bundle thickness were in a good coincidence with the experimental results.
