摘要
The paper deals with the two-objective Topological Optimum Design (TOD) problem of minimizing both the mass of the structure and its maximal displacement under a prescribed loading. A multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (MOEA) using Voronoi representation is applied on the cantilever plate, the popular benchmark problems of TOD. Whereas its results are of the same quality than those of a single-objective approach, it does provide for approximately the same computational cost a sampling the whole Pareto front (i.e. a complete set of trade-off structures). This makes multi-objective approach extremely interesting for solving real life TOD problems where the evaluation cost is usually quite high.
