Syntheses, characterization, crystal structure and magnetic properties of copper (II) α, β-unsaturated carboxylate complexes with antipyrine

摘要
Two ternary complexes Cu(2)A(4)(C11H12N2O)(2)[A is CH2 = CH-COO- and CH2 = C(CH3) -COO-, C11H12N2O=antipyrine] have been synthesized, accompanying elemental analyses, IR, ESR, electronic reflectance spectra and magnetic studies.. The single crystal X-ray diffraction shows that Cu-2[CH2 = C(CH3) -COO](4)(C11H12N2O)(2) crystallizes in the monoclinic with space group P2(1)/n, a = 1.20264(8) nm, b = 0.87604(10) nm, c = 1.88246(14) nm, beta = 100.802(5)degrees, Z = 2 and R = 0.0304. Two copper(II) atoms are bridged by four alpha- methylacrylate groups, and each copper (II) atom is coordinated with antipyrine molecule in axial position, forming a distorted square pyramidal configuration. The symmetric center is between the two copper (II) atoms, and the Cu-Gr bond distance is 0.26615(3) nm. The Cu-Cu distance and magnetic studies suggest that there exist antiferromagnetic interaction between two copper(II) atoms.
