EFFECT OF ANNEALING ON PROPERTIES OF LIGNIN-BASED POLYURETHANE FILMS

摘要
A series of lignin-based polyurethane (PU) were synthesized using lignin, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and diisocynate (TDI and MDI). Acetic acid-extracted lignin (AAL) from eucalyptus and alkali-extracted lignin from cornstalk (AEL) were employed as the polyol components to substitute some traditional polyols. Polyurethane thin films were prepared by solvent casting method and annealed at 60 similar to 450 degrees C for 2 similar to 72h. The gel fraction increased by nearly 20% after annealing treatment. The results of thermogravimetric analysis demonstrated that the thermal stability of the films was improved significantly The data of tensile tests indicated that the tensile properti of the lignin-based PU films were enhanced by annealing at 80 similar to 100 degrees C within 24h.
