摘要
In this paper, an optical fiber magnetic sensor is proposed by combining the long-period fiber grating with the sensitivity of the external refractive index and the refractive index of the magnetic fluid with the change of the external magnetic field. Theoretically, the sensitivity is 0.03602nm/Oe and the linearity of fit is 0.9998 when the magnetic field strength ranges from 30Oe to 300Oe at room temperature of 25 degrees C.
