摘要
Mango peel waste was used as precursor for preparation of novel activated carbons for the removal of dyes from aqueous solution. The activated carbons were prepared from mango peel using both physical and chemical activation methods. Their efficiencies were tested in the removal of inkjet and helactine dyes from aqueous solutions. The mango peel activated with K2CO3 showed better efficiency than the physically treated one.
