摘要
This article proposes a periodic leaky -wave antenna with circular polarization. The antenna is consists of a transmission line and isosceles right triangular metallic patches that are utilized to achieve circular polarization. The axis ratio bandwidth of the antenna is efficiently improved by adding slots to the isosceles right triangular metallic patches. The simulation results show that the axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth is 22.5%, and beam scan angle is -10 degrees to 15 degrees. The antenna has a maximum gain of 14.32 dBi.
