Mean annual soil losses on plowlands under different natural and land-use conditions

摘要：
Fluctuations in long-term soil losses from the arable lands have been under study for the East-European and West-Siberian plains. A close correlation has been revealed between soil losses and solar activity. A first experience of compiling a map of long-term soil losses from a compacted plowland is presented. Spatial regularities in soil erosion development and results of erosion quantification are discussed.
