摘要
In this paper the vibration distribution characteristics are introduced with the aim of detecting the potential deformation of power transformer windings. Vibration distribution characteristics are defined based on the vibration measured on the surface of transformer tank. Features of the vibration distribution characteristics graphics arc chosen as the indexes that decide whether there are potential winding failures in the transformer. Experiments are taken to validate this algorithm, looseness of compression force and deformation are done to the windings, corresponding data are collected before and after the man-made failures for comparison. From the experiments it can be concluded that vibration distribution characteristics can reflect the health condition of the winds and can he used as a criterion in transformer faults diagnosis.
