Comparative study of OFDM system with carrier interferometry code and STBC in flat fading channels

摘要
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) splits a high-rate data stream into a number of lower rate streams that are transmitted simultaneously over a number of subcarriers. In this paper, we use SPW simulation platform and implement the OFDM system incorporated with the Carrier Interferometry (CI) codes and Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) to undertake performance comparison. The simulation results show that the performances of STBC CI-OFDM and CI-OFDM show approximately a 10 dB gain over the STBC-OFDM in flat fading channels.
