摘要：
This article deals with the questions of formalising approach to describing railway objects and processes of passenger transportation in the Decision Support System on the Latvian Railway. The authors suggest the set-theoretic approach to formalizing model of the topology, rules and restrictions of the Latvian Railway network, which are used as the basis for the process of data transformation in the Data Warehouse, for building Data Marts and getting effective selections for particular decision-making tasks.
