摘要
The article is focused on the teachers' professional identity in the 21st century Romania. The teaching profession is facing new kinds of responsibilities, roles and competences in the 21st century. Therefore, the teacher training and teacher education should match the new social demands and students' needs alike. The theoretical premises of this research are to be found in the studies and theories on the relationship between teachers' professional identity and teachers' competences of D. Beijaard, N.
