Quasi-two-dimensional Shubnikov-de Haas effect

摘要：
The theory of the Shubnikov-de Haas effect is generalized to the case of two-dimensional systems with several occupied size-quantization subbands. Possible interlevel scattering is taken into account. It is shown that the relative amplitudes of the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations are determined not only by the occupancy of the subbands but also by the intensity of intersubband transitions.
