摘要
This work presents an approach to develop a CASE tool including: a) different model classes, b) extensions to model classes and c) different methods to construct models of a model class, including its extensions. Experience in developing and using of a prototype of the proposed type of CASE tool is presented. The approach used is an object oriented model of the CASE tool. Model classes, such as Entity-Relationship, Data Flow Diagram, Objects, Petri Nets, etc. are modeled with meta-classes. Methods are object oriented modeled with construction strategies composed by decision rules. Extensions to model classes are modeled with generic schemes.
