摘要
The circulating harmonic currents of the voltage-source inverter (VSI) fed dual three-phase machines cause copper losses and deteriorate current THDs. Although many works have been made to reduce low-order harmonic currents, the harmonics near the switching frequency have not been addressed, which usually have high amplitude and would cause extra high-frequency vibrations and noise. In order to suppress these harmonic currents, the influence of PWM methods on harmonic currents is needed. This paper provides a circulating harmonic current prediction method of the general six-phase PWM for parallel three-phase inverters. The harmonic currents are analyzed based on the inverter switching state. By decomposing the voltage in a sampling period into an average voltage and voltage ripple, the equation of harmonic voltage ripple is derived, and then the variation rate of harmonic current can be obtained by combing voltage vectors.
