Auf der Grundlage der geschatzten 1-Jahres-Mortalitat von <5%, 5-10% oder >10% wird das Risiko eines Patienten mit Pulmonaler arterieller Hypertonie nach den EU-Leitlinien als niedrig, moderat oder hoch bewertet. Die Stratifikation gilt als entscheidend fur die Therapieplanung. Hoeper et al. pruften, ob sich mit einem Modell mit 4 Risikogruppen die Stratifizierung verbessern lasst.
