摘要
The mean biofilm production of 22 Staphylococcus epidermidis isolates associated with catheter related bacteremia was significantly higher than that of 32 nose isolates from healthy individuals. This difference was due to seven catheter related isolates. These findings do not show a clear association between biofilm production and virulence. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science me. All rights reserved.
