摘要
The device miniaturization revolution has brought an increase of technology in almost all layers of our society, changing the way we interact with either a man-made or enhanced natural environment. But, this device miniaturize implies also a reduce of their performances, therefore limiting the possibility of integrating a standard security solution. A new branch of cryptography, namely lightweight cryptography, tries to address security issues in small devices. Yet, given the multiple hardware solutions and architectures available on the market, a developer of lightweight cryptographic algorithms can be overwhelmed. In this paper we propose a hybrid architecture comprised of three hardware architectures thus ensuring a minimum level of heterogeneity that a mixed-environment is required to have when testing lightweight algorithms.
