Depression of the cavitation centers in water under pulsed tension conditions

摘要
The effect of impurities on the density of cavitation centers in water under the conditions of pulsed tension with amplitude of up to -6.0 MPa has been studied. It is established that the density of cavitation centers in water under these conditions decreases in the presence of dissolved CO2, HCl, and formic acid.
