摘要：

Nanosized CeO2 were synthesized using the mechanochemical synthesis route from precursors of CaO and CeCl3. Despite the favorable thermodynamic driving forces, CeO2 phase formation occurred only upon heating the precursor mixture to 400 °C. X-ray diffraction and Brunnauer-Emmett-Teller analyses demonstrated that the particle size of the CeO2 to be -19 nm.
