摘要
In this paper, we introduce the significance of indoor positioning and propose an optimization model algorithm to obtain the locations of the mobile terminals. This paper is based on the study of indoor three dimensional (3D) localization of the wireless communication station, using the optimization model algorithm to calculate the locations of the mobile terminals. Firstly, analyzing the given data sets, i.e. base station coordinates and Time of Arrival (TOA), using the optimization model algorithm to obtain the location coordinates of the mobile terminals in Line Of Sight (LOS) environment. Secondly, this paper proposes a modified TOA positioning scheme based on Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) environment. NLOS is one of the key problems in mobile terminals localization, which is the main error factor in positioning systems with high precision. Thirdly, the error analysis is carried out in terms of the comparison between the actual locations and the calculated locations. Finally, this paper compares the optimization model algorithm and a traditional method, the time difference of arrival (TDOA) positioning system method. Results indicate that the optimization model algorithm obtains more accurate locations of the mobile terminals.
