摘要
Widely used notion of "digital gap" between generations actualizes the problems of psychological content of this gap, possibilities of its overcoming and contribution of intergenerational interactions in user's activity, confidence in oneself as user's and digital competence. The data of all-Russian study of digital competence on a sample of 1209' parents of adolescents aged 12-17 is presented in the article. It is shown that the frequency of use of the Internet by parents and their digital competence depends not only on their generation but on generation of their children as well, thus confirming the significance of study of intergenerational interactions in the Internet mastering. It is shown that younger children "stimulate" parents to master the Internet and this effect in respect of younger parents shows itself in the frequency of use, while in respect of senior parents (especially baby-boom generation 1943-1963 years of birth) in unassisted mastering of the Internet and greater digital competence (especially skills and responsibility in technosphere). Peculiarities of the Internet mastering (unassisted / with the help of their children) are mediators that explain the relationship between generations of parents and children and patents' digital competence.
