摘要
The main objective of this paper is to explore the possibilities of developing a 3-tier architecture model for load flow monitoring of a multi-area power system. An architecture based on single-server serving multiple clients has been proposed, which enables all neighboring power systems to have simultaneous access to the remote load flow server for continuous load flow solutions. RMI (Remote Method Invocation) based distributed database environment has been implemented in such a way that for every specific period of time, the remote server obtains data from each neighboring power system client's database and provides continuous automated load flow solutions to all the registered power system clients. In this proposed work, a multi client - single server RMI architecture with heterogeneous distributed database environment has been implemented which provides continuous instant load flow solutions for the systems spread over remote geographical locations.
