Social archaization always occurs or is carried out for the sake of preserving the vital parameters of everyday life, for the sake of the society's adaptation to changed conditions, for the sake of individual and collective survival. The two forms of social life which without exaggeration can be called the primary ones, are survival and enrichment. Likewise, their opposites in terms of normal or desirable life should be harmony and/or realization. Without performing a deep analysis of the diversity of the ethical, psychological and philosophical concepts of happiness, harmony or realization, we can only say that progressive modernization or - speaking in terms of classical philosophy - sustainable development is associated exactly with them. However, survival and (strange as it may seem) its remarkable companion - enrichment - should be discussed separately, because these are the forms of life that are inextricably linked with the phenomenon of social archaization. Thus, the archaization of survival is the desire to change something in the structures, institutions or values of the public order - changes occurred and are occurring in all societies, albeit at different rates. Here we are looking at the changes which in a certain sense are forced, i.e. the decision-makers sacrifice something undoubtedly valuable and important for the sake of preserving something even more valuable and important, and ultimately for the sake of preserving the very subject of social action.
