Simulating Cross-cultural Environments in Development of International Cooperation Competence

Previous research of the author has proved the role of simulating cross-cultural environments in the development of international cooperation competence of the prospective external relations specialists due to the fact that simulations help acquire competence, rather than just theoretical knowledge, as well as help the prospective specialists gain the experience for being ready to take on actual tasks within their future work duties in the field of external relations. Additionally, the content for the simulation activities within the Cross-cultural Communication classes has partly been provided for. However, to integrate simulations into the curriculum, it is necessary to devise a set of methods to be used, which can be done only after analysing the simulation process and the ways of carrying out the simulation activities. Thus the current research aims at discussing and justifying the simulation process and its benefits within the Cross-cultural Communication classes, as well as of analysing the usefulness of the simulation process and of the basic ways of simulating the cross-cultural content.
