摘要
Works that aim to guarantee the flow of biodiversity as well as to facilitate connectivity between ethnic groups located in distant Indigenous Lands (TI's) can be called ethno-environmental corridors (CEa's). This work aimed to create proposals for CEa's such as TI's Urubu Branco and Tapirape/ Karaja located in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, inserted in the Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado biomes. Raster images of slope, permanent protection areas (APP) and land use were prepared and reclassified to cost matrix images. From the cost matrix images total cost images were obtained. For the establishment of CEa's, it was necessary to obtain the images of cost distance and cost direction. Using the images of cost of distance and cost direction, and the vectorized perimeters of the TI's, a raster image of the CEa's was generated. Two main ethno-environmental Corridors (CEa's) were proposed. The width of the two CEa's was defined in their proposals as 10% of the total area according to CO-NAMA Resolution Nr. 9 of October 1996, with a spatial design that includes areas that have native vegetation cover above 50%. The Main Corridor, due to the greater coverage with native vegetation, might be more favorable to the flow of indigenous populations, when compared to other proposals of CEa's.
