摘要：
In 2014 the second edition of IEEE Std 1434 Guide for the Measurement of Partial Discharges in AC Electric Machinery was approved. This guide includes possible on-line and off-line PD measurements on complete stator windings as well as on individual stator coils and bars. It was agreed that further work would be initiated with the objective of developing a recommended practice for PD measurements on coils and bars that might ultimately result in the establishment of pass/fail criteria. This paper reviews some of the alternative methods that are being considered.
