摘要
The paper presents an analysis of energy and economic effectiveness of electricity and heat cogeneration in combined heat and power (CHP) plants fired with natural gas. The following type of CHP plants have been analyzed: a) gas-steam CHP plant with 2-pressure heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) and with extraction-condensing steam turbine, b) gas CHP plant with simple cycle gas turbine and c) CHP plant with gas engine. For particular type of CHP plants there. were determined the quantities characterizing their energy effectiveness, such as: efficiency of electricity production in cogeneration, efficiency of heat production in cogeneration, overall efficiency, power to heat ratio and primary energy savings (PES) and also the quantities characterizing their economic effectiveness, such as: net present value (NPV) and internal rate return (IRR).
